Frequently asked questions

What is a church community

A group of believers that function as a family, striving towards a common goal in relationship with God, exemplifying the character of Christ Jesus and fulfilling the Commission to share God's love.

What can I expect from service?

Our main service (hub) is on Sundays (1pm-3pm), there are refreshments after service where we can catch-up with each other.

Children will have their service in a separate room, after a time of worshipping in singing, clapping, playing the tambourine and instruments.

The order of the service may alter from time to time, depending on who is leading.

First Sunday - we usual will have the Communion (Lord's Supper)

Second Sunday ( alternative months) - Women's & Men's Ministry will lead the service.

We have Mission focus services, as well as time for sharing what God is doing on the journey.

There are events that run throughout the year, this is announced on Sundays.

Are children welcome?

Of course! The more the merrier.   Children are catered for, dedicated Children's Ministry Staff, (DBS checked)

We also conduct baby/children dedications.

Baptism

In our love for God and our willingness to becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ, we follow His instructions recorded in

Matthew 28:19 Jesus commands people to baptise others in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Baptism does not wash away our sins, this is done by accepting the Lord Jesus into our hearts, by repentance ( a turning away from sin) ' Baptism represents being buried with Christ in death so that people can live a new way of life -Romans 6:4

Worship

To worship is way to express our love for God and to recognise him as our Creator, Saviour, and King.

It's a key part of our relationship with God and can be experienced through Jesus Christ.

We believe that worship is not just about singing, or clapping your hands, but it is living our lives in a way that honours God.

Psalms 95:6 'Come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker'

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, that it was given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. Timothy 3:16-17

We believe that it's not just a historical book, to be only read, but in it there are depths of understanding that comes by study and meditation.
